Bonnie Lujean Owens (Stevens)

Bonnie LuJean Owens (Stevens), age 82, died peacefully Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Washington, UT. Bonnie was born in Moroni, UT on April 1, 1940 to Martin Nevert and Camille Ivy Olsen Stevens.

Bonnie married Perry Neal Allred in the Manti Temple in 1957, they had three children, Andy, Cathy, and Darrin. They raised their family in Poway, CA, and Santa Clara, UT and eventually divorced. She later married James (Jim) Owens in St. George, UT.

Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and had many wonderful friendships. She was loved by everyone she met, her kind demeanor and warm personality made her easy to get to know.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved a good laugh and shared many, our family reunions and water fights are special memories. Shopping adventures with Bonnie will be missed, she loved a “shop ‘til you drop” day at the mall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, younger sister Terry (Donald) Pederson, and husband Jim Owens. She is survived by her children: Andrew Neal Allred of St. George, UT, Cathy Allred King of Healdsburg, CA, and Darrin Nevert Allred of Mesquite, NV, siblings Gail (Ron) Larsen, Washington, UT, and Steve Stevens, Grants Pass, OR. She left a legacy of seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Autumn Park Assisted Living and Canyon Home Care and Hospice in Washington, UT. Mom was loved and cared for like a family member.
