Bonnie Jean Hunter completed her mortal journey on December 1, 2024, at age 82 in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was born on February 27, 1942, to Robert Oliver Bloore and Julia “Joan” Lois Melvin Bloore and grew up with her two brothers, Michael Oliver Bloore and James Melvin Bloore (who died at 92 only one week ago).
Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Royal Paul Hunter, and her granddaughter Deanne “Annie” Jones. She left a legacy of love through her seven children: David Hunter (Carolyn), Kylene Jones (Jonathan), Natalie Holden (Mark), Craig Hunter (Lorinda), Yvonne Davis, DeAnna Harris (Greg), and Nathan Hunter (Maria). She was fondly known as “Grammy” to her 29 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was renowned in her community for her exceptional quilting skills, creating treasured pieces that brought warmth and joy to many. Her heart belonged to several small dogs that she loved with her whole heart. She graduated from nursing school at age 40 and dedicated her short career at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center to serving others as a nurse.
The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to Utah Valley Hospital, Spanish Fork Hospital, Legacy House Assisted Living, and Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for their tender care of Bonnie during her final days.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9 am to 10:45 am at the Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi, Utah. A short graveside ceremony will be held at Provo City Cemetery at noon. Thank you for all of your love and support!
