Bonnie Anderson Holt

March 26, 1940 — April 7, 2021

Bonnie Anderson Holt

Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away after succumbing to injuries from a fall.  She leaves us only 2 ½ weeks after her husband and life-long companion, our father and grandfather.

A true lady and a smart, kind woman, Bonnie was born to Wendyl and Helen Anderson in Washington D.C.  She graduated from Olympus High School, was Student Body Secretary and Junior Prom Princess at the University of Utah and a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

In 1962 she married and was sealed for eternity to the love of her life, Thomas Albert Holt, in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was an elementary school teacher, a devoted mother, an active member of her community and a devout member of her faith.  She served in many church callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served with her husband presiding over the Boise, Idaho Mission, and served as matron for the St. Paul, Minnesota LDS temple.

She was a direct descendent of John Beamensdorfer who fought in the Revolutionary War.

Bonnie had life-long passion for learning and adventure.  She loved to travel and to study history.  She taught piano for many years.

Her greatest joy was her family.  She was a devoted mother. She leaves behind her six beloved children: Katherine Holt Burgener (Rob) of Park City, UT, David (Anne) of Draper, UT, Margaret Nuttall of Draper UT, Julianne Holt-Lunstad (Nathan) of Draper, UT, Rebekah Bannink (Duane) of Woodbury, MN and Jonathan (Christy) of Blaine, MN and 22 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held April 9, 2021 from 11 am - 12 pm at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East in Draper, Utah.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm on April 9, at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
