Bobbee Jean Richey

Bobbee Jean Richey, aged 68, died peacefully on September 22, 2017 after a long battle with Dementia. She was born to Robert Lee Hales and Carol Jean Herbert in Ogden, Utah on June 6th, 1949.

Bobbee attended Ogden High School from 1965 to 1966, while there she made many friends and was loved by all her knew her. Bobbee also learned how to type while attending Ogden High and was an expert in typing by the end of her career at Gaston College in Dallas, North Carolina.

Bobbee Jean Hales and Fred W Richey II were married and sealed on February 19, 1972 in the Los Angles California Temple. The happy couple was married thirty-eight years and loved each other very much - a match made in Heaven. All those who knew Bobbee knew that she was such a compassionate gentle person; her spirit calmed many of our storms. Bobbee was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and in the face of tragedy and sorrow Bobbee's faith went on un-waivered towards the end of her life.

Bobbee Richey had a knack for gardening. She would speak and almost teach her plants just as she taught her children. She would nurture and care for them and was always successful in blooming the most beautiful plants you had ever seen.

Bobbee raised four children taught them to be kind and honest, to love and trust in the Lord and always have faith.

Bobbee Jean Richey was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee Hales and Carol Jean Herbert, her brothers James and Steven, her sister Raelene Irvine, and her husband Fred W Richey II.

Bobbee Jean Richey is survived by her four children, Fred William Richey III (Michelle), Jason Thomas Richey (Corinne), Victoria Jean Bryant (Ian Bryant), and Brittanie Richey, four grandchildren and many extended family members.

The family wishes to thank all those who cared for Bobbee in her last days. We also want to recognize the great and above and beyond care provided by Avalon Care facility and Canyons Hospice.
