Blaine Victor Howell age 88, beloved husband of Elaine, and beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home in Nephi on February 25, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born August 28, 1931 in Price, Utah to Ira Victor Howell and Velora Allred Howell. He was a lifelong Utah resident.
Blaine served in the Utah National Guard for two years prior to his four years of service in the United States Air Force as Airman Telegraph Operator during the Korean War.
Following his military service, Blaine was a licensed expert land title abstractor for more than 30 years and was a long time member of the Elks Club.
Blaine and Elaine enjoyed many trips with their travel trailer prior to retirement, and many years as "snow birds" spending winters in Yuma Arizona after retirement.
Blaine is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Elaine Howell, his brother Wallace Sherman Howell; his three children, Lisa Walker (Iowa), Mark Howell (California), Shelly Howell (California), 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; and all of Elaine's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Following cremation there will be family memorial services.
