Bill Martinez

Bill Daniel Martinez passed away September 17, 2016. Born July 12, 1965 in Murray, Utah to Leo and Gloria Martinez.

He was raised in Midvale, Utah and attended Hillcrest High School. He was a member of St. Therese Church in Midvale.

Bill was a wonderful father and loving son and brother. He has two brothers, Leo (Lisa), and Tom, who passed away, and sister, Rebecca.

He is survived by his first wife, Marianne Olsen, two sons, Chris and Josh, and current wife, Paula Sharples Martinez, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Epimenia Gallegos, and Ruben and Beatrice Martinez.

We love you, Bill, and we will miss you very much.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Church, 624 W. 7870 S., Midvale. A viewing will be held at the church from 6-8 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery, 450 W. 7500 S., Midvale.

In lieu of flowers, funeral donations are appreciated.
