Beverly Jean Linnebach, a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all passed away April 16, 2016. Glen, her husband of 64 years, their family and all who knew Beverly will greatly miss her. She was born August 1, 1925 in Cloque, Minnesota, to Estelle and Harvey Boisjolie. The family moved to California soon after, and later to Salt Lake City where she remained for the rest of her life. Beverly worked at the arms plant in Salt Lake City making bullets for the military. During the war she also spent a couple of years working in the postal department at Fort Douglas. She married Ned Graves in 1943 and later divorced. She married Glen A. Linnebach in 1951, gaining five beloved sisters, Lois, Carol, Diane, Maureen and Gwen, along with a brother, Gary.
Beverly worked part-time as a checker in several grocery stores when she and Glen were first married. She was Glen's partner in the construction business until 1974, at which time they retired leaving a legacy of many projects, including seven wonderful parks in Salt Lake County.
For many years after Glen retired, Beverly spent time volunteering at St. Mark's Hospital. She was also a member of the apartment association. Beverly cleaned and managed 57 apartments for over 20 years.
Beverly was very outgoing. She easily made friends with the tenants and created many lifelong friendships on their travels to British Columbia and Mexico. Beverly and Glen enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing and hunting. Wherever Beverly ended up she had a knack for locating stray cats. She would name them, feed them and find them a lifelong home. She spent her free time bowling with friends and family and loved playing cards. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoyed playing with grandma any time they could, although grandma usually let them win. Adults were a different story.
She is survived by her husband, three children - Sandra Gayle Maylett-Wood, James N Linnebach and Shawn Michael Linnebach, as well as her grandchildren - Nicole, Shawn, Glen, Shahara and Sara and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Blue and Harvey Boisjolie.
