Betty Jane Ogden Wall, born September 8, 1922, passed away, from natural causes, at her home surrounded by her family, on November 27, 2021 at the age of 99 years. Betty died one day after her 78th wedding anniversary to her only love, Brant H. Wall. Betty is survived by Brant and her four sons and their spouses: Gregory (Marla), Scott (Carolyn), Steven (Sheila), and Cory (Deanna). Additionally, she leaves behind a large following of grandchildren, to include, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Betty was born and raised in Lynndyl, Utah to Robert Harold Ogden, and Ana Marguerite Larsen. She attended the BYU for one year while awaiting admission to the University of Utah/LDS Hospital School of Nursing from which she graduated in 1944. She married Brant Wall, from Castle Dale, Utah on November 26, 1943 and subsequently followed him to Amarillo, Texas where she employed her nursing skills at the local public hospital while Brant fulfilled his military service obligation at the Amarillo Air Base. Following Brant's discharge from military service they moved back to Utah where she again pursued her nursing profession while Brant attended law school at the University of Utah.
Betty enjoyed spending time at their cabin, FISHING, horseback riding, camping, painting, and gardening. She also immersed herself in family history as a result of which she created an extensive Book of Remembrance for each of her sons. Brant, Betty and their sons were sealed together in the Salt Lake City temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Above all Betty loved being a wife and mother. She was the ultimate Boy-Mom, and a nurse with nerves of steel. She lived a beautiful life of 99 years and will be missed.
A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Fortuna Way chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4407 South Fortuna Way, Millcreek, Utah 84124. The interment will occur immediately afterwards at the Wasatch Lawn cemetery located at 3401 South Highland Dr., Millcreek, Utah.
