Betty Jean Neve

Betty Jean (Walker) Neve, 78, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 7, 1941, to Gerald and Eileen Walker. She died January 6, 2020 in Salt Lake City.

Betty attended Granite High, before marrying Richard Clinton Neve on July 14, 1959 in Salt Lake City. They had 2 children, Richard Douglas, and Debbie Jean.

Betty worked school lunch for many years before retiring. She then went to work at Fun Services for several more years. In her spare time her hobbies included crocheting and fine needle work. She enjoyed planting flowers and working in her yard. She loved her family dearly, and will be sorely missed.

Betty is survived by her husband Clint, of 61 years, one son Doug (Barbara), and a daughter Debbie (Larry), 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, brother Gary Walker (Lois), and sister-in-law Judy Walker.

Preceded in death by her parents, and brother Richard G Walker.

She was loved by so many and will truly be missed.

A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 from 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, UT. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Crescent 3rd Ward at 949 E. 10600 So., Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held at 11 am prior to service.
