Betty Ruth Morrow

Betty Ruth Morrow, 89, passed away April 23, 2015 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born June 13, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steve and Elizabeth Ascheman Slaughter. Married Dee Lamar Morrow in Salt Lake City on December 26, 1944. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2011.

Survived by daughters, Betty Jean (Bruce) Ostler; Kathy (Brent) Haun; and son, Dee Lamar Morrow Jr. (Audrey); 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Swenson and Lillian Griffiths. Preceded by Dan Ross Slaughter.

She was loved by all her family and will be deeply missed.

The family would like to thank her physical therapist, Todd, and aide, Becky, from Harmony Health Care; and special thanks to Envision Home Health Care and Hospice, nurse, Shelley; and aide, Rita.

Graveside services will be held Monday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East. Family and friends will gather for a short service at 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St.
