Betty Coombs

Betty Davis Long Hooley Coombs passed away July 25, 2021 in Nephi, UT due to complications from a heart attack. She was 80 years old.

Betty was born on December 19, 1940 to Ted & Eudora Davis in Goshen, UT. She married her first husband Jack Long and had five children together. After Jack passed she married to Gene Hooley and had one daughter together and he brought 3 children into the marriage that she always claimed as her own. She met her husband LaRay Coombs in the early 2000's and they lived happily together on their little ranch with her dog Balto Jr.

Betty enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and quilting in her spare time. She was amazing at bowling and won many awards for bowling over 300. And she would say her greatest achievements was her family and all her many grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband, LaRay Coombs; her daughters LaJean and Pearl; her step-children Lynette and Mike; her sister Joann; 29 grandchildren, 78 great grand children, 1 great great grandchild on the way; and her pomeranian Balto Jr.

Betty is predeceased in death by her late husbands, Jack Long and Gene Hooley; her children Betty Ann, Jack, Francis, and Margie; her step-daughter Cindy; her siblings, Sterling, LaVar, ElRay, Faye, 'Sis' Eudora, and Norma; 5 grand children, 2 great grand children; and Balto Sr.

There will be a viewing Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi, UT from 10 am to 11 am. The graveside service will follow shortly after at 11:30 am at the Fountain Green Cemetery.
