Beth Stickney Saldivar, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away unexpectedly at her home February 8, 2019. Mom was born in Santaquin, Utah to Albert C. and Rachel Sidwell Stickney on August 10, 1936. She graduated from Payson High School and moved to Salt Lake City soon after.

Mom met and married the love of her life Ernie (Ernest) V. Saldivar on February 28, 1959. He was killed in an auto pedestrian accident January 21, 1984. She never remarried. They have three children, Danny V Saldivar, Kellie M. Saldivar, and David M. Saldivar. She was always a hard worker, which she learned from being raised on a farm and she had a great work ethic. She retired from Northwest Pipeline in 1996.

Mom had a great love for her family and spent as much time as she could with us. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Utah Jazz as well as the Utah Utes. Mom was always there to share with her children and grandchildren their life's meaningful moments, events, and accomplishments, we knew we could count on her support in every endeavor and phase of our lives.

Mom is survived by her children Danny (Sandy), Kellie (Kevin) Anderson, and David (Jill), grandchildren, Shannon, Stallon (Alexia), Bailey, Marcus, Gabrielle, Blakely, and Griffin, her sisters, Melda (James) MacKay, Ilona (Edward) Warner, Kaleen Day, numerous nieces and nephews including her extended Saldivar family, and dear sister-in-law, Lee Ann Saldivar, who was more like a sister as well as her friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernie, parents, sister Verla Stickney Cole, brother Jay Stickney and her granddaughter Randilee Saldivar.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 18, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah 84047. Funeral service will be held at the same location Tuesday, February 19 at 11:00 AM with a 10:00 AM viewing. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
