Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother, Beth Burgon Booth, 93, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2017. She was born June 17, 1924 in Union, Utah to Heber James Burgon and Rosa Jenette Hurler. Beth graduated from Jordan High School where she enjoyed dance and music classes and later attended college at BYU. She met her darling, William Harvey Booth and were later married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 19, 1944, after which they moved to San Francisco where Bill had to report for duty in the Navy. They moved back to Utah one year later, where they started their family. They lived in various states including Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming and Utah. Beth held a variety of jobs such as, Walker Bank, Secretary to the principal at West Jordan Jr. High, City Recorder for West Jordan, and worked for the city of Draper.

Beth and Bill were fortunate enough to fulfill their love of travel and visited many wonderful places together. Throughout her life, Beth was very active, enjoying swimming, golf, playing the piano and organ, painting, quilting, and genealogy. Beth was a faithful longstanding member of the LDS church where she gave devoted service through many callings; Chorister, Pianist, Primary President, and Relief Society President. She devoted her life to caring for and serving others.

Beth's passing will be a tremendous loss to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Each, of whom were convinced that they were her favorite. She enjoyed an amazing relationship with each of her children, three sons and two daughters. She nurtured each relationship with her loved ones and always looked forward to family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by her entire family. Her light- hearted sense of humor attracted many friends and she was loved by all who were acquainted with her.

Beth is preceded in death by her sweetheart, William H. Booth; her infant son, Jerry J. Booth; her son, Steven William Booth; her daughter, Marne' Booth Jackson; and granddaughter, Kerri Booth Brewer. Beth is survived by her two sons, Bryan and Kelly; her daughter, Lori (Geoff) Chillingworth; sister, LaRae Hammond; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Copper View Stake Center, 12154 S. 3600 W. Riverton, UT. with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30. Interment, Crescent Cemetery.
