Berva Dawn Beckstead Pierce

Our beloved mother Berva Dawn Beckstead Pierce passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 90.

Mom was born March 14, 1934 in Sandy, Utah to Lores Ardell Beckstead and Della Hyatt Beckstead Holt.

Mom married our Dad, Jack Kay Pierce on February 11,1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mom was an INCREDIBLE mother to her seven children. Mom had a long career in banking. She started as a teller at Valley Bank and rose to being the Manager/Vice President at Bank One’s central branch in SLC. Her accomplishments were many.

Mom is survived by her seven children; Debbie St Clair, Steve (Carol), Scott, Brad (Sandy), Bret (Charise), Christy Dansie (Jay), and Mitch (Stacy), daughter in law Coray, sisters Darla Keller, and Karen Steadman. Mom has 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Val Beckstead and Wayne Holt, husband Jack, beloved grandson Alex, daughter in law Dede, son in law Monte St Clair, brother in law Gary Steadman, sisters in law Sharon Pehrson and Beverly Ogan. We are comforted knowing that they were there to welcome Mom and now have her in their warm embrace.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00pm and one hour prior to service at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:00am also at Goff Mortuary.

Interment will be at Sandy City Cemetery located at 9000 South 700 East following funeral service.
