Barbara Ann Poulsen

Barbara Poulsen, born on April 16, 1938 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Floyd Robert "Dick" Birch and Gladys Marie Graham passed away on July 12, 2018 in Sandy, Utah.

Barbara attended South Fremont High School and was valedictorian of her graduating class. She graduated from x-ray technician school at St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden, Utah. She married William G. "Bill" Poulsen in 1958. They were sealed in the Ogden Temple in 1975.

She worked as a x-ray technician at Logan Hospital in Logan, Utah and Tanner Memorial Clinic in Layton, Utah. After she moved to Florida, she worked as a medical transcriptionist at Blake Radiological Services in Bradenton, Florida. She retired in 1999 and returned to Utah. During her life, she served in many Church positions.

She is survived by sons, Mike and Bruce (Lori); five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held July 27, 2018 at the Copper Hills 14th Ward, 9227 Wild Clover Lane (4900 W.) in West Jordan at 9:00 a.m.

Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
