Barbara Ann Kendall, 78 of South Jordan Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 28, 2020.
Barbara was born June 30, 1942 to Bryant Albert Heki and Nelda Winget in Austin, Utah At the rip ole' age of 22, Barbara married Lyle Rae Kendall, after falling madly in love with him. They met due to an automobile accident in which Lyle run into her at a stop light. He stated then and there that she was going to be his wife, due to the fact that she had nice legs. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on July 27, 1964.
They lived a very full life and enjoyed their four children, Stormie Rae, Lyle Eugene, Stacey Marie and Abra Mitchelle. But the true loves of their life where their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went.
Barbara played a deeply connect role in each of her grandchildren's life. She was a role model, friend, confidant, cook, seamstress, spiritual advisor, and example to each one of them. She loved with all her heart and then some. She gave them the guidance that only a grandma can give.
She was a dedicated member of the LDS church and lived in the same ward for 19 years and has cultivated many lifelong relationships. Barbara was the neighbor cook, she always wanted to share her love of cooking with everyone in the ward and had them over to the front yard for parties and BBQ's throughout the years.
Barbara joins her husband Lyle, daughter Stormie, brother William, sister Darlene, Mother Nelda and Father Bryant and her brother Eugene in what we would say was probably a pretty joyous reunion.
