Barbara Ann Boettcher

Mom was born September 2, 1939 to Alice & Bill Brown. She grew up with her sister Sally living their early days in Copperton Utah. Mom passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2025 in Draper, Utah.

Our Mom graduated from Bingham high school in 1958. She loved the Lord and following high school she served an LDS mission in West Jordan Utah.

As she prepared for the workforce Mom went to LDS business college before beginning her career at Mountain Bell. Along the way, she met Dad and they married in 1966, raising us four sons. While working full time, she expanded her learning through classes at Westminster college. She was a dedicated worker for more than thirty years before deciding to empty her desk to expand her role as a full time Mom and Grandma.

Mom volunteered for many years serving a service mission with Dad at the Church genealogy center, and also volunteering time with the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Boy Scouts, and at the local Blind Center, as well as many other volunteer opportunities that came her way.

Mom loved solitaire and other card games, crosswords, Yahtzee, Bunco, game shows, ice cream and popcorn, as well as travel, bears, knitting, porcelain and ceramics.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Bill Brown, her Mother in law Florence Boettcher and Father in law Knoble Boettcher, her sister Sally (Charles) Wilson, her sons Robert (Rae) and David Boettcher.

She is survived by her husband Robert Boettcher, son Jon (Jayme) Boettcher and son Danny Boettcher, as well as her daughter in law Rae (Robert) and grandchildren Justin, William, Michael, Elizabeth (Duncan) and Katelyn.
