Ava Christensen, age 94, passed away on December 9, 2017.
She was born on January 26, 1923 in Mayfield, Utah to Joseph Alvin and Lavinia Lyman. She graduated from Manti High School. She married Vernell Christensen on January 28, 1944. They had three children: Sandra Worthington, Marilynn (Leo) Christensen, Wesley Christensen. She enjoyed doing many crafts including quilting, sewing, crochet and most of all gardening. Ava was the last survivor of ten other siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband and son.
A viewing and visitation will be held at 9:30-11:00 am on Wednesday, December 13 at Anderson Funeral Home at 94 West 300 North, Nephi. Graveside services will be held at Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery. All family and friends are welcome.
