Ashley Jill Hancock, loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother and friend passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the age of 40.
Ashley was born on December 13, 1978 to Clark Neff Harper and Lynda Mower Sargent, she was the youngest of three girls.
There are many words to describe Ashley; beautiful, intelligent, loyal, caring and vivacious. She had a heart of gold.
There was nothing she loved more than her two beautiful daughters; Harper and Henzlee.
Ashley was an accomplished woman. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business, and achieved her highest training as a Master Esthetician. With this training and education, she developed and operated her own business; Edify, a Permanent Cosmetics School. She was a visionary in her field; with 16 plus years of experience and 11 years of teaching. Ashley's passion was empowering women by teaching them a life skill. She taught them more than a skill, she instilled confidence She was loved by her students, clients, employees and everyone she came in contact with.
Ashley married Tyler Carlston (deceased) in 2000. Later, she married Chris Hancock; who is the loving father of Henzlee and step-father of Harper.
At the time of her death, Ashley was engaged to Sean Patrick McPeak.
Ashley is preceded in death by her grandparents Elizabeth "Betty" and Henry Lawrence Mower of Payson, Utah.
Survived by daughters, Harper Sage Carlston, Henzlee Elizabeth Hancock, parents, Clark Neff Harper, Lynda Harper Sargent and Byron Sargent "Dad #2," sisters, Jennifer Harper (Ryan), Lynsi Harper Wade (Shane), fiancé Sean Patrick McPeak, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who absolutely adored her.
Services will be held Saturday, November 16th at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, located at 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah 84020.
Funeral services 11:00 a.m., Celebration of Life immediately following.
