Arthur Arden Millerberg

Art, as he was known to family and friends, passed away early Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home in West Jordan, Utah.

He was born on June 6th, 1924 in Murray, Utah. He was the second son of Ernest E. Millerberg and Deborah P. Millerberg. Eventually the Millerberg children numbered five: Marlon, Delores, Art, Renee and Ruth, none of whom survive him.

Art was educated at schools in Midvale and Sandy, Utah. He graduated from Jordan High School in June of 1943. He was drafted into the U.S. Army that same month. During World War II, Art served three years in the South Pacific.

Art was employed at the Kennecott Copper Mine for 34 years. He retired in 1985.

He is survived by Marion Bird Millerberg, his wife of 75 years.

Their children are Marilyn (Bill) Morley, Bryan (Jan) Millerberg, and Douglas (Debby) Millerberg. He was "Grandpa" to six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, at 12 Noon at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, where there will be a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
