Armando Quintero Cazares “Oscar / Mocho”

Armando Quintero Cazares “Oscar / Mocho”, age 49, left his earthly home to join his family in heaven on October 18, 2024 in Nephi, Utah. He was born January 5, 1975 in Nicolas Bravo Chihuahua to Gloria and Lenin Cazares. Armando married Lisa Blackhurst on October 8, 2014 in Weber, Utah. 

Armando loved farming and worked on the farm for over 15 years. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks and swore “they all come with extra parts.” He liked to keep himself busy and loved telling stories both fact and fiction. Armando loved spending time with family and friends, fishing and looking for caves. 

He is survived by his parents, Gloria Quinteros and Lenin Cazares, wife, Lisa Cazares, sons, Dameon Jensen, Isaiah J. McCray, Kyllar A. Cazares, daughters, Ansley Luckhart, Alexis Condie, Yasmine Vallejo, siblings and families, Petra Pearson, Joe, Rosario, Gloria, Alex, Teodora & Lazaro Magallon, Adrian (Jennifer), Ramon (Kyla), Aaliyah, Lenin Casarez, Lesley, Jaydee, Kimberly, Jessica, Maribel & David Riquelme, Davari, Lainey, Nailea, Kain, Jonaton Casarez. He is preceded in death by Shay Bradley Pace Sundwall. 

Funeral services will be held October 25, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Nephi 4/5th church located at 345 East 500 North, Nephi, Utah with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:45. Interment will be at the Nephi City Cemetery.
