Arlene Farnsworth
Arlene was the daughter of Desmond Dean and Inez Elaine (Johnson) Young. She was born June 7, 1937 in Moab, Grand County, Utah. Her childhood was spent in Moab until she attended Denver Central Business College after High School graduation from Grand County High School.
Arlene met and married Clair Gale Farnsworth November 19,1957 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Together they raised 4 children Dianne, Larry, Scott, and Kerry.
She graduated from San Joaquin Delta College with degrees in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family, genealogy and gardening, She never left home without her book, crocheting, or sewing. She worked in the Fountain Green City Library, and enjoyed seeing the kids come in to check out books. Arlene was a lifelong reader and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her daughter Dianne (Kimball) Johnson, Larry Farnsworth (Bonnie Shankel), Scott Farnsworth (Cindy Frisk) and Kerry Farnsworth (Rachel Diamond), 15 Grand Children, 42 + 1 on the way Great Grandchildren, sister in law Rolayne Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents Inez and Des Young, husband Clair Farnsworth, brothers Robert Dean Young and Leslie D. Young (Terry Young).
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 22 at the Fountain Green Ward Chapel, 100 S. 200 W. Viewing will be at 10:00 am with funeral services at 11:00 am.
