Aprielle Marie Rawlins was born on November 29, 1984 to Rawlen Ricks Rawlins and Yvonne Rawlins in Provo, Utah. She was the second daughter in a family of six children. She was born with a cleft palate which made her first year of life fairly difficult - she was always hungry and it was a full time job feeding her. She was able to have surgery when she was about a year and you couldn't keep up with her after that. She always tried to keep up with her older sister, Darby. Her family lived in Salt Lake, moved to Idaho where she spent her elementary school years, and then back to the Salt Lake area for high school. She was very active and loved running track and cross country in high school.
Aprielle received a track scholarship to Iowa State University where she attended college for a year. She then attended the University of Utah and then went through massage therapy training. She practiced massage therapy for a few years and was able to make enough to pay her U of U tuition.
Aprielle loved to travel. She went to Australia her last year in high school for a track event. She went to Costa Rica for a massage therapy conference. She also went to Belize with a friend and to Mexico. She had a very minimalistic attitude and loved the outdoors. She loved rock climbing and was very adventurous.
Aprielle is survived by her parents, Rawlen and Yvonne Rawlins; siblings Darby (Joey) Onehouse, Rachelle Rawlins, Adrianna Bouck, Trafton Rawlins, and Clarissa (Dylan) Banks; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a grandma.
We will deeply miss our daughter, sister, and friend. She brought a lot of joy into our lives.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 14th, at 11:00 a.m. at Midvale Cemetery.
