Annette Marjorie Johnson Niksich, 78, passed away on September 3, 2016 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on July 15, 1938 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Reed D. and Margaret Percich Johnson. Annette married her sweetheart, Peter George Niksich, on May 10, 1958 in Midvale, Utah.

Annette graduated from Jordan High School, where she participated in various activities. She spent her early years doing different secretarial positions, including banks and working for Burdick Contractors, and then stayed home and cared for her family.

Annette enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, and playing the piano. She even wrote and composed some of her own music. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was always smiling and was a pleasure to be around. Annette was always very compassionate and giving, wanting to help others.

Survived by children, Brad Niksich (Gina) and Angela (Shane) Floyd; grandchildren, Amanda, Makayla, Madison, Braxton and Shayne; sisters, Marilyn (Jim) Houmand, and Linda (Page) Whetman. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete; and sister, Bonnie (Ned) Hermansen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Midvale East 4th Ward, 87 East 7100 South, MIdvale. There will be a viewing Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, and also Friday 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
