Ann Rae Clark

The world just lost someone very special! Ann Rae Clark passed away early morning on January 9th. What an amazing woman Ann was! There is not enough room to put down all of her attributes. The world asks us to list our loved ones accomplishments, such as, employment, degrees, military service, etc... Annie didn't have many of these really, but what she did have, is a huge heart! She had an amazing capacity for love and compassion, that she demonstrated to those who had the privilege to get to know her. She was a little earth-bound angel.

Annie had an infectious laugh and loved good food! She would many times send her sweet husband, Alvin, out to pick up Taco Time tacos (tacos trembled at the mention of her name!) or some other delicious ingredients to prepare at home from her wheel chair!

Annie was the kind of person who never forgot Holidays! On birthdays, Easter, Christmas, and all other days of celebration there would be a card in the mail and sometimes a few bucks, even though those were hard for her to come by. Her generous spirit was amazing.

Anne loved a good deal! Walmart and the dollar store were a couple of her favorite haunts. Alvin would drive her there and push her up and down the isles to her hearts content. Thank you, Alvin, for always being so loving and patient to our Annie!

Annie, in her younger years enjoyed herself as a waitress at a California Cantina, where famous people would frequent. She made lots of tips with her beautiful smile and vibrant personality! During this time, Annie drove a white convertible triumph with the top down, wearing a visor on her head, and good rock-n- roll music playing up loud on the stereo. And despite life's up's and down's and ill-health she was always a good sport and looked for the positive in all things. She loved The Lord with all her heart and encouraged others to do the same.

Annie blazed her own trail and with the commitment of extracting all the good from each day, while celebrating the simple things. We will miss her dearly and the world seems a little less bright without her in it. We love you Ann! Put the top down and let your hair blow in the wind. You've earned it!

Anne is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Lister and her father, Leon Lister, the father of her children Ronald Calvert.

Anne is survived by her sweet husband, Alvin Clark and his family. She is also survived by her two beautiful daughters, Lori (Shane) Simons and her family, as well as Amy (Josh) Cook and her family. Anne is also survived by her loving son Chris Calvert and his wife, (and one of Annie's favorite friends) Stacey.

As a family we are relieved that her pain and suffering are no more. She is dancing in heaven with our Heavenly Father.

Anne's family would like to invite you to join us for her services.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday January 13th, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home which is located at 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah with interment following the services at The Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.
