Copperton, UT - Angela Aspiazu Arriz, 100, passed away on January 31, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Angela was born on January 8, 1916 in White Knob, Mackey, Idaho to Steve Aspiazu and Julie Elordi Aspiazu, the fourth of five children. She grew up in Highland Boy, Bingham Canyon, Utah.
Angela married Teles Arriz and they were the parents of two sons. He preceded her in death.
Angela loved to travel and went on many cruises and visited many foreign countries with her sisters.
Angela retired from the Federal Government after many years of service with the Loan Guarantee Division.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, James; and sisters, Gloris, Estella and Pilar.
Angela is survived by her two sons, Eddie (Robin) and Henry, Copperton, Utah, and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of One Care Health and Hospice for their outstanding care of our mother during her final days. We would also like to thank Beatriz for her dedicated and outstanding care of our mother over the years that Angela was at the care facility.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St. in Midvale. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
