Andrew Jay Meza, 67, passed away on May 3, 2022, in West Valley City, UT surrounded by his family. He was born on November 11, 1954, in Ogden, UT to Sue Negrete and Joe Meza. Andy married the love of his life, Machelle Kendall, on August 23, 1975, in Salt Lake City, UT. He enjoyed dancing, singing, golfing, fishing, spending time with his family, and drinking a Coors Light with blue mountains with countless friends. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He was a jack of all trades and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His grandkids had his heart. He was very proud of all 8 of his grandchildren and always made sure they knew it. He will be deeply missed.

Survived by his wife Machelle, children Michael (Jenny) Meza, Amy (TJ) Gonzalez, Nicklaus (Annie) Meza, Misty (Joel) Clausen, grandchildren, Cody Meza, Jordan Gonzalez, Jaden Tuft, Quentin Meza, McKaylah Clausen, Addyson Meza, Aidan Gonzalez, Alijah Clausen, and 5 siblings. Preceded in death by his parents (Sue Negrete and Joe Meza) and brother Joel Meza.

Memorial services will be held from 11 am-1 pm on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, UT. We will have an open service from 12-1 pm where family and friends are welcome to share memories of Andy, followed by lunch at Machelle and Andy’s home, 3950 S. 6955 W., West Valley City, UT.
