Our loving mother, Alice Bradshaw Rollins (95), unexpectedly passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019. She was born in Beaver, Utah to George Albert and Rose Ellen Muir Bradshaw on March 19, 1924. She married her sweetheart Basil Rollins on June 23, 1942. They were sealed In the St. George Temple on April 10, 1954. Basil passed away on December 14, 1998.
Alice went to California while Basil was in the Navy. She worked in a small shop called Newberry's. When she was 90 she had the chance to go back there and see it. The name was still on the sidewalk.
Alice loved to travel and see new things, she was always ready to go, especially if it was shopping. She loved to sew and make things for others. Alice was a supervisor-trainer for the Catalina sewing plant. She loved the people that she worked with. She held many callings in the church, primary teacher, visiting teacher and working in the temple.
She is survived by her sons, McKay Rollins (Jana), Sigurd, Utah, Byron Rollins (Marita), Ferron, Utah, daughters, Leone Gibson (Terry), Tooele, Utah, and Marjorie Blackett (Marlow), Nephi, Utah, and one daughter-in-law Beth Rollins, Castle Dale, Utah, 31 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandcbildren. She was preceded in death by Basil and two sons, Calvin Rollins and George Rollins, a grandson Ryan Rollins, and a great-grandson Reese Payne, her parents, 8 siblings, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 23, at 12:00 noon in the Milford City Cemetery. A public viewing will be held on Sunday, December 22, from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 95 West 300 North in Nephi.
