Alice €Œfaye†Mounteer

Faye Mounteer passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016. She was born May 4, 1937 in the old mining town of Bingham, Utah. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart of 62 years, "Bill" Mounteer. Together they raised five children who were her greatest joy in life.

Mom was an accomplished sewer, creating cherished pieces from almost every needlework medium.  Faye was a strong woman and role model. She was faced with numerous health issues and met each one with a positive attitude.

Faye is survived by her children, Linda (Ken), Michael (Linda), Jerry (Susan), Nancy (Gary), Karen (Bart), 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brothers Byron and Allen and sisters Carolyn, Sandra, Pam, Sheila and Gloria.

There will be a viewing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, May 20th at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, UT. Funeral services will be held at the Bluffdale 11th Ward, 14400 S. Redwood Road, Bluffdale, UT, on Saturday, May 21st at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
