Alecia Ferrin Wicklund

Our sister, mother, aunt, wife, and friend Alecia Ann Ferrin Wicklund, passed away too early at the age of 41 on Friday, November 10th, 2023. Alecia was born on Sunday, October 3rd, 1982, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Russell and Diane Ferrin. She was born on her Grandma Connie’s 59th birthday.

Alecia had two loves of her life; her two sons Theodore Michael Ferrin and Christopher Ryan Ferrin. Alecia loved camping, going to concerts, and working on her fairy rock garden.

Alecia is preceded in death by her father and mother, Russell and Diane Ferrin. She is survived by her brother Ryan (Rachael) Ferrin, sons Theodore and Christopher Ferrin, and by her husband, David Wicklund.

Alecia’s wish was to be cremated. She was not a fan of funerals and instead wanted a gathering of family and friends. An open house-style Celebration of Life party for Alecia will be held at the Daybreak Hills Condominiums clubhouse (1320 W. 6690 S., West Jordan, UT 84123) between 5 and 9 PM on Saturday, December 9th. Please park at the LDS church (just south of the clubhouse) located at 1380 W. 6785 S., West Jordan, UT 84084, and we will shuttle anyone who wants a ride over to the clubhouse.
