Al Conner

Albert Neil Conner, 91, passed away at his home in South Jordan, Utah on March 22, 2016. He was born on December 1, 1924 in North Platte, Nebraska to Albert James and Leona Conner. Al married Elizabeth Ann Saley on July 28, 1943 in Elko, Nevada. He served in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Enterprise in the South Pacific. Al was a welder for Utah Portland Cement.

Survived by his wife of 72 years, Elizabeth; children, Patty (Ned) Woods, Vera Leonard, Teri (Les) Taylor, Cindy (Ed) Engels, Janice (Randy) Warner and John Conner; 29 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; children, Carol Conner and Michael Conner; brother, Leith.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
