Adelina Romero Vigil, 105, passed away on December 23, 2014 at her home in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on November 6, 1909 in Penasco, New Mexico and raised by Tranqulino and Matilda Romero.
Adelina married Eluid Vigil. Together they had and raised two children, Ernestine and Antonio Vigil.
She lived a very good long life and saw many changes during her time.
Survived by her daughter, Ernestine Vigil; grandchildren, Randy Vigil, Casey Vigil, Ronnie Vigil, Michelle Vigil, Jason Ulibarri and Amber Phillips; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, Eluid Vigil; son, Antonio Mario Vigil; great grandson, Corbin Vigil.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic, 624 W. Lennox Street, Midvale, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. (Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.) on Friday evening at the church. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
