October 9, 2012 — April 9, 2016

Tanner Bowen Ault

Our loving and sweet Tanner Bowen Ault courageously and valiantly returned home to the open arms of his Father in Heaven on Saturday, April 9, 2016.  Tanner was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 9, 2012 to his loving parents, Travis and Jamie Ault.  He was exactly three and a half years old.

He is survived by his Mommy, Jamie Lynn Morgan Ault, Daddy, Travis Glenn Ault, and brothers Austin Glenn Ault (5) and Zachary Travis Ault (2).  He also leaves behind his Memaw, Loretta Jean Campbell Ault, and Pop, Marshall Glenn Ault, Grandma, Marsha Bowen Morgan, and Grandpa, Blake Allen Morgan.  He has aunts and uncles who love him dearly, and cousins and friends who adore him.

Tanner entered this world quickly and left it far too soon.  Although his time on earth was short, we are so proud of him, who he became, and the precious boy he will always be.  To us, he is perfect.  He taught us all how to love unconditionally, forgive quickly, and to find good in everything.  He was a handsome and happy, well-adjusted, courageously strong, ambitiously wild, but innately charismatic young boy.   He was a peacemaker, a rule-follower and a natural born charmer.   Tanner was an adventurous boy, who loved everything blue.  He loved being outside, getting dirty, going hunting, and capturing bugs.  He and his brothers loved riding their scooters, building Legos, telling their own jokes, and playing made up games.

He has a deep, everlasting and unbreakable bond with his Mommy and will always and forever be her snuggle-bug. He was his daddy's right hand man, wrestling foe, and partner in crime. He was the best buddy to his big brother "Austy", and self-appointed guardian and dutiful protector of his little brother, "Zachy."   They will miss him deeply, but we feel that his legacy will live on, through them.

We will miss everything about Tanner - His perfect little face, his bright blue eyes, his contagious smile and his unselfish concern for those around him.  Always willing to share, and always the first to say, "it will be okay."

We are forever grateful for the amazing three and a half years we had with Tanner, his vibrant personality, and celestial demeanor.  We know that this separation is only temporary and yearn for the day when we can embrace him yet again.  We trust in our all knowing and loving Heavenly Father.  We find great comfort and have a clear and calm assurance that this is not good bye and have unwavering faith that families really can be together forever.  There are not words to express how much we love you "Tan Man." You will always and forever be our baby boy.  We know that you are our guardian angel looking down on us from Heaven above.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 15 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the LDS Stake Center located at 12691 South 3600 West Riverton, UT 84065. Funeral Services will be held at the same location at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 16 with a viewing prior to the funeral beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
